This is a beautiful puzzle and that is why I decided to write this first review of mine. The pieces are medium size and it is easy to see the pictures on them. This puzzle was 137 pieces and it took me around 45 minutes to put together. I wish it was a little bit more challenging, but the company has puzzles with more pieces, which I will try next time. I wanted a puzzle that I can put together in the evening after my kids go to sleep, so I did not want anything that is too time consuming. I don't like puzzles of 500+ b/u I feel I spend so much time sorting and laying out the pieces rather than just trying to put it together. I love the puzzle craftmanship -- the pieces are thick, and the wood is very solid. The colors are beautiful. Each piece is different shape & I love searching for shapes and not just for pictures on the pieces. This is a wonderful gift and fun puzzle to have. I am going to get another one from Artifact. If you want another inexpensive, wooden but a bit more challenging puzzle -- try goanywhere puzzles [...]. I bough one with 160 pieces and it took me about 4 hours to put together b/u the pieces are very tiny, however the puzzle is also very nicely made, individually cut & solid, and fun to put together.

Surpassed my expectations on multiple levelsSep 07, 2010
By Peter E. Hart I'm not very familiar with wooden puzzles (other than little kid puzzles), so I was very much looking forward to trying this one, even though I didn't really know quite what to expect.
My initial reaction was one of surprise at the enormous variety of fanciful puzzle shapes. I suppose we're all so accustomed to cardboard puzzles, whose pieces seem to be variations on just a few basic shapes, that I hadn't thought much about how much richer the "shape space" could be. It was fun to see, and play with the variety of scrolls, ratchet-like edges, and more, that define these pieces.
I next noticed how tactile and satisfying it is to join together precisely cut puzzle pieces. Maybe it's because I design and build hardwood furniture that this was a big deal for me, but the high quality maple plywood is an ideal medium for realizing the laser-cut patterns.
Finally the graphics of the completed puzzle was very satisfying. The colors are rendered very accurately, at least as compared to other versions of the Klimt artwork that I found on line.
We'll have to get a couple of more ambitious Artifact puzzles to take along on our next family vacation

Gave this beautiful puzzle as a gift, the recipient loves it. I've seen it put together and it's gorgeous. Highly recommend.
Good puzzle for adults and older kids.Nov 30, 2011
By Momwithkids I was excited to open the puzzle bag when it arrived. The wooden pieces are little sharp for my taste. I played this puzzle with my 9 years old and we had a good time putting it together. It's a bit hard for her. I like the idea of putting all the piece in a little see through bag. However, when it comes the time to store it away, I think I would prefer to put them in a box.
Great wooden puzzleMay 23, 2011
By S. MARCHUS The shapes of the puzzle pieces complement the art nicely. This puzzle is great fun to put together! My only gripes are related to the lack of a wooden box (or even the option to buy a wooden box) and that the 3 ply wood is not quite as durable as the 5-ply that some other puzzle makers use.
