5It's not easy being green......Mar 24, 2013
By Susan Kaput
I received this puzzle as a gift, and I'm glad I did, as I might not have purchased it because it was 'too green'. Well, there are many shades of green, and many, many types of leaves and grasses in this puzzle, as well as a myriad of animals and birds, some partially hidden from view. As always with Artifact puzzles, the puzzle pieces themselves are little works of art and some form very satisfying larger, repetitive shapes throughout the puzzle. As you progress, you discern that the whole puzzle has actually been cut to a larger, repetitive pattern. Elegant design, as always. I've done this puzzle twice; the first time I started with the river running through it, the second time I didn't and I was just all over the place - the river plan was better (just sayin'). Good luck with your own plan of attack on this one. :)
