wonderful wooden puzzle for teen & adultsApr 07, 2012
During a lazy rainy afternoon at a bed and breakfast in Maryland my husband and I opened the box of this puzzle and were captivated - drank a couple of cups of tea and didn't stop until finished. This company makes beautifully crafted wooden puzzles that test brains and bring delight with the uniquely shaped pieces. The outline of this particular puzzle is not traditionally shaped ... won't say any more, except if you enjoy puzzles you'll have a lot of fun and love working with these great wooden pieces.

Yet another favorite from Artifact.Jun 07, 2014

As with the Karen Kunc abstract puzzle, I held off ordering this one for a long time, thinking it looked kinda boring. Wrong on both counts - they are now two of my favorites! What I liked - the larger size pieces that seemed to fit well with the design of the painting, the colors in the actual puzzle are richer than those on the box, the surprising ways some of the pieces fit together, and lastly - the view across the water reminds me of my favorite area in Scotland (not relevant, I know, but it makes me happy to be reminded of Scotland, even if it is not actually meant to be Scotland). Also, when finished, it's just nice to stare at it for awhile - it's a feel-good scene, looking through that open window.........One more thing (another reviewer mentioned it, so I'm not giving anything new away - the puzzle is shaped a bit differently from the picture on the box, and very satisfyingly so. Have fun with this one.
